Travel: What To Do in Jeju?

Okay guys, I know that this post supposingly to be up before 2016, but I have been really busy lately! So I'm gonna make it up to you now!

If you guys may or may not know, I was in Korea for a week plus and one the places we went was Jeju island. Jeju is a volcanic island situated in southwest part of South Korea. It is also known as "islands of Gods", it is one of the top honeymoon spots in Korea to visit among the Korean newlyweds. I now understand why it is a honeymoon spot, Jeju is a total beauty.

So What To Do in Jeju?

1.  Make your own perfume in Jeju My Cafe Story

Girl, let me tell you this, how often can you make your own perfume? Jeju My cafe story offers using their very natural scent from flowers that they plant themselves and picked out to let their customers to use any kind of scent that suits them! It was really fun and it was interesting to find out everyone kind of scent. Mine smells like baby powder tho, maybe cuz i'm such a baby.

2. Challenge your intellect in Mazeland Theme Park

This activity really challenge your memory and intellect, it was definitely scary because I was so scared of getting lost, but it was fun, and the joy of finding your way out, you'll feel like you're the smartest person in the world. Did I told you I felt like a character from a Maze Runner movie?

3. One with nature in Udo Island

Udo Island is a volcanic island, it is really beautiful. Perfect way to get out of hustle and bustle of the city, and just be in tact with the sea and nature. Udo island have a unique beach, instead of the usual sandy beach, they have the coral beach! Interesting isn't it? And I love how blue and clear the sea is, you can even see fishes swimming in the sea!

4. Test your fitness in Seongsan Sunrise Peak

Okay gurl, let me tell you this, I am the most unfit person in the world, atleast in my dictionary. Whatever activities that need some physique strength, I would say no to it. However, I went to this because my tour guide forced me to, don't get me wrong, it waws definitely worth the climb especially in the cold weather, Koreans love to walk or hike the mountain. That explains why they're so slim. When you're up there, gurrrrrrl, the view is definitely surreal.

5. Check out the Osulloc Green Tea Farm & Musuem

A tea person? Well this place is definitely worth the visit and understand how they make our daily tea drink, also they sell really fresh teas that you don't get to get anywhere else! I bought tonnes of tea product from here!

6. Ease your stress in Camellia Hill

This place is definitely perfect for working couple who are stress with their city and working life. It's definitely a stress free zone. Totally immersed yourself in the scent of camellia flowers!

7. Immersed in the unique beauty of Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff
This is definitely one of my favourite part of Jeju, the view is totally amazing and you get to watch old ladies aged 60++ dive in to hunt some abalone! What's amazing is, they don't even need an oxygen tank to dive! That's why people say that Jeju women are really strong!

8. Check out handmade bears in Joanne Bear Museum

Very interesting, perfect for teddy bear lovers! What's amazing is, these bears are all handmade! You get to see iconic figures like obama turned into teddy bear......that does not sound right, but you get what I mean!

9. Indulge in luxury of Yacht Sailing

This is a must thing to do in Jeju, with the beautiful view of the clean sea, indulge yourself with wine, seat back and relax and enjoy the view of the blue sea. You even get to fish the fishes in the sea, but they won't let you take the fish, you will need to let it go after fishing it. It's like you purposely stab a friend and say sorry. LOL just joking!

10. Immersed in the autumn beauty of Sangumburi Crater

This is my favourite place in Jeju, it's undeniably romantic. The view is mesmerising, worth it definitely. A lot of korean drama were shot here because of its beauty! I was here for a very long time to take lots of pictures, I swear, this place is BEAUTIFUL!

11. Pick up some fresh tangerine like a local
Jeju is famous for their tangerine, and your trip will not complete if you don't eat their fresh tangerine! I was here and I pick up some of their tangerines, i felt really proud because I feel like a farmer eating her own harvest!

12. Let out your inner k pop with your favourite k-pop bands in Play K-Pop

Omg I swear to you that this place is so fun! I'm a HUGE fan of big bang and this place offers cool game that related to your k-pop stars such as dancing, karaokeing, dressing up and it's really fun. You also get to watch their hologram performance and we were pretty lucky that day we get to watch a g-dragon hologram performance. It felt so REAL because it looks REAL. I even tricked my friends that g-dragon kissed me because it looked that real. I even got chosen to hologram myself to be on stage with g-dragon, god I wished that g-dragon was real tho. hahahahahhahah the dream.

OOTD: Not A Rebel

Top: Forever 21 // Bottom: Zalora // Hat: Forever 21 // Lips: Estee Lauder

Pic credit: Seed Photo

Flannel has always been a staple in my closet. If I feel like dressing down on that day, pairing my outfit with flannel will definitely be one of my choices. I like how it adds grunge and 90's nostalgic vibes into my whole look. I got this from forever 21. Recently, I am digging into white outfit or everything white. Not gonna lie, I hate the idea of trying to keep it clean and it is very impossible not to stain any of my white outfit, trying to keep it clean is definitely a pain in neck, but really, how can you not love white colour. This boyfriend distressed jeans I got from Zalora is currently my favourite, I like how it is very comfortable and yet you can look really well-put even though you did not put much effort. The distressed jeans definitely give an edgier feel into the outfit and I like how I look like a bad kid with this outfit. To top it all, I always put on my oversized fedora from forever 21 so I don't feel naked on my head. I don't know about you, but I LOVEEEEE hats. And ofcourse, I don't want to look too tomboyish, I will always put on my favourite red lipsticks from Estee Lauder to add on a feminine touch to my whole look!

So, How do you like me in streetwear?
Since the main colour of this look is red, would you wear it for CNY?

Till Then,
xx

OOTD: Burgundy New Year

When it comes to the chinese new year season, red colour is always the first choice of colour. I'm not gonna lie, I hated the idea of wearing the traditional red colour on chinese new year, so I decided to modernize or spice up a little with my hefty burgundy skirt from dreamscape, it hugs your body just right and it keeps u warm in this colder season ( except in Malaysia) unless you're always in air-conditioned room, so it will be fine.

As usual, I like to pair with my floppy hats, and this time it's in burgundy colour that I got from
Korea, it does add some elegance into the whole outfit. I like to channel abit of posh and by adding on my favourite knee length outwear that I got from forever 21.

So what are you going to wear for the chinese new year?

Till Then,
xx

Good bye 2015, Hello 2016

Hi guys, I know I have not been updating so frequently lately. I hit a rough patch sometime last year and it's been such an overwhelming feeling I have till i had to delay most of my post because I just didnt have the motivation to write at all, but instead I found my love and passion in video editing and that's why I'm more active on the youtube side and can express more of my creativity that side.

There are so many things going on last year, I travel a lot, I had my toughest internship, I started my very first long distance relationship & all that jazz. It was a very happy but a bumpy ride, if you guys may or may not notice, I broke up with my long term boyfriend and probably the longest and the most serious relationship I had. No it wasn't a bad break up but it was a mutual agreement due to distance and other factors. I know most people think that I am crazy because I flew over to see him, but lets make it fair, he did too invest on the relationship and the trip. So no blaming in any individuals. We had some fair share on investment and effort on the relationship but things did not work out, which suck. True, we were happy but it's a wrong time to be together. I mean we are both really young, relationship requires commitment and we are so far away from each other and there are a lot of things that we cannot satisfy each other which made the relationship really tough to work on. Since the break up, sure I was sad, But I felt that it was a good decision for the both of us because we finally can work on ourself and better ourself without worrying the other party. Not only that, my first internship was honestly one of the toughest experience I had, I was very depressed for the past 3 months because I worked for one of the prestigious company in the world and actually have a big client. It was honestly stressful especially when you can't meet your boss expectations, not gonna lie, i broke down 2-3 times during my internship, it's crazy. This is one of the reason why I was "away" from social media because I want to unwind myself and try to get myself on track again. There were a lot to take in and that's why I needed the break.

2015 wasn't all sad and gloomy, it was one of the best years I had, I get to travel across the country and finally visited my dream place America for 5 weeks, new york, La, Pittsburgh, Indiana,San francisco,  and Buffalo. I get to travel and work at the same time with air asia to korea, it's a dream come true. I get to meet new people, I venture into youtube, I joined a youtube competition and actually recognised by Youtube team. There are a lot of happy moments but these are by far one of my best memories.

2016, I hope for a better career, a better me and a happier me.
Sure, I hope there are gonna be a lot of downs but I will try to change my mindset and make it as a positive learning experience.

So here are my 2016 goals.

1. Work more on my blog &youtube.
I have been slacking and that's no good, I want to be able to consistently to create more amazing content. I want to be more creative in every content I'm doing.

2. Travel more.
booked my ticket to Taiwan &Korea, hopefully to more other places such as the Europe :)

3. To be organised
I am a very clueless person and sometime I get very unorganised with everything, schedule, and stuff. Sometime I even forget important appointments, I really need to work on that.

4. To be more healthy
2015 is the most unhealthy year I've been, I hit my heaviest weight ( not gonna tell u how heavy) But I decided to be more healthy and maybe do the #fitness on instagram LOL. Also, get more regular sleep, because my sleep is a little messed up.

5. To do things out of my comfort zone.
I don't what it is, but yeah something out of my comfort zone. Such as, muay thai, pole dancing, whatever idk.

6. To be always have positive person.
I always have negative thinking and whenever I feel sad, I will dwell in it very long, this year I will be a much happier person!! I want to be kind to people and to be content and grateful towards everyone around me.

7. To read more.
Thanks to social media and technology, I dumped my love for reading because I get really lazy, this year I will be read more, and read before my sleep because it helps to make me sleep

9. To actually achieve whatever it is on the above hahahahahah

So yeah that's all guys, really excited for 2016 and what will it offer me. This year I make sure it will be a happier one!

Till then,
bye! xx
